I have noticed on the sedan with HFC's (only on the automatics) a drone. Now for me it wasn't something that was unbearable but to next guy it might be!
My apologies to all of you.

The issue was resolved with an under body inspection at the muffler shop, they find out a crack and one loose bolt!.They fixed everything and now my system is running like new

Tony sorry for this post, I was a little disapointed but I did'nt to the assigment of re-check everything first.

The mechanic told me I hit something badly and that made a crack at the flage that connect to the right muffler and was making a lot of droning, yeah a little crack.

My apologies to all, and like I said before, this is a great exhaust.

I went with the Impul even though it costs an arm and a leg compared to the other systems out there. Sure its just an axle back system but it was the closest exhaust I found to stock. Sounds like stock in the car but has a nice tone to it when you punch it. Very similar tone to a stock G35 coupe, just a little meaner

Here is the vid:

Thankyou for letting us know that it ws not the exhaust system causing the drone adn was actually the crack/leak, makes me feel confident again about my purchase! Thanks again! Go FI!!!

I found myself driving around thinking that it was too loud at first. Then I realized that I had the radio all the way down.? Needless to say a couple bars on the volume (where I drove before the exhaust) and it was virtually unnoticeable. I'll just say that, if you're looking for it, you'll notice some drone with the 5at but it is truly low in volume. Also, I thought the HFC's didn't aggrevate it at all, they seem to add volume at a different (higher) rpm range which was above cruising range, thus no drone.

I'm glad mine ended up in the right hands.

Tony, you don't make anything for the M6 do you?
