G35/G37 coupe midpipes
Like many other members, I'm looking for the coupe sound. Not really looking for performance gains, just the sound. Does the G35 or G37 coupe midpipe fit the 08 g35x sedan? (i'd have to get two g35 midpipes) I've been looking for pictures and I dont think it does, but just wanted to make sure.
If the midpipes do not fit, would an exhaust shop be able to custom it to fit the stock 08 mufflers?

Wait do you want the G37 coupe midpipes? It's almost identical to the sedans, I'm pretty sure it's basically the same, if you want the G37 sound I think it's the Mufflers and no it would not fit because we have 2 cans while they have the single one and we dont' have space to place that. If you are looking for the G35 coupe sound, I guess you could try to find a stock exhaust from one and try to get a muffler shop to fit it onto your sedan, I'm not familiar with the G35 coupe but again we don't have space in the back for the single muffler with 2 tip thing, we need to have 2 individual mufflers. I hope this helps. I know apparently that the Stillen exhaust sounds quite close to the G35 coupe sound, and I have HFCs X pipe and Tanabe mufflers, and i personally love the sound my car makes.

thanks for the reply. I know the coupe rear mufflers definitely does not fit, without your ripping out part of the bottom of your trunk. I was under the impression that swapping in the coupe midpipes alone would make a difference in sound, at least with the first gen sedans. If i could achieve the same with our sedans, it would be great.
Stillen= great sound but $1030 and drone lol

Well I know what you mean, I really wanted the coupe sound but I didn't went to drop that much money on an exhaust. To be fair, next time i might just get a pre built exhaust, because i spent way too much time inside shops getting mine done, it was fun and i learnt a lot, plus I have not a Header back exhaust and it cost me the price of a a cat back.
How loud do you want your exhaust to be this is quite important.
