^ if you have warranty left on it then why would you take the car back from the dealer if the repairs have not been fixed for your WOT problem, if they cant fix the same problem in 3 times then have them lemon the car.
Dont back down, you wont be able to sell this car if the car cant go WOT, im sure who ever decides to buy it will test out the car.

Unforuntately the lemon law does not apply to a car that is 3 years old with > 60,000kms. If if it did apply they prorate it by mileage on fair market value of the car.
I am goign to try a couple more things to see if this will solve it:
1. Remove HID fog lights
2. Order and install Black Betty ground wire kit
3. Remove Stillen intakes and replace with factory airbox
4. Recheck and reconnect all harnesses
5. Order and install new car battery
FYI, hte check engine light is always throwing the same code (camshaft position sensor)!!

My evo did this too. I was driving about 25MPH and the car backfired then a soft stall. I had to pull to the side of the road. After about three 5-second cranks the car turned over and I was able to continue driving. It hasn't acted up since it happened so I'm assuming it was just a one time thing. Luckily it didn't happen at a higher speed, since I lost all control. Only working thing were the brakes.

well the difference is that one is on the end of the cam on the head of the engine and the other is at the crank and watches the rotations of the crankshaft itself. i remember having to get into this on my acura and if i recall those two sensors are not terribly difficult to change on a honda j32 but i can't really speak for the vq35 engine.
out of curiosity how did your dad determine it was the cam sensor?

PROBLEM SOLVED...
Negotiated a deal with my infiniti dealer.
Traded the piece of $hit in. Just picked up a brand new G37S Coupe 6 speed with tech pack ...
I never wanted to buy another infiniti, but i was stuck, i could not trade in the car, fix the car, sell the car, or anything because it was UNREPAIRABLE!
plus the tranny was not feelign like it was tortured under this condition one too many times, and started to slip.
I really wanted a 2011 Mustang, but it ended up more expensve because the trade in value would be too low (since my car is messed up)...

No they gave me a really good deal on a new 2010... and upped the trade in value for my piece of crap 07 G35 ....
I mean at the end of a day, it was worth nothing because it could not be repaired (maybe 12-14K CDN?)) but they gave me $22K for the car, and discounts on the car itself!
