PROBLEM: overheating???

stright to the point.

checked coolant and it was below minimum.
filled it up little under maximum 2 weeks ago.
checked today and its way below minimum.

i see some coolant marks around the front engine bay area but dont see any coolant spilled marks on the bottom engine tray (plastic thing that covers the engine from the bottom).

HELP

check all your hoses. if you don't see any leaks, take it to the dealer.

If it is loosing coolant that quickly I would definetly bring it down to the dealer and get it checked out.

Check your oil, if it looks milky then there may be an issue with the head gasket. It is unlikely but there is a chance you are losing coolant there. You would also see a white smoke from your exhaust SpyHunter style....

Could be your heater coil too?

^ very possible, stranger things have happened to brand new cars so i wouldnt rule that out.

FYI the cars do run on the hot side but the temp gauge should NEVER go over its normal just below middle temp mark, and the coolant should not be used so quickly i filled mine from between min and max to full over a year ago and still its full.

If you take off the under tray, there is lots of access to stuff under the car,,,, But yes on the rapid warmup of these cars,, i was quite surprised how FAST they get to operating temp.. even in the cold months here.....

oil change was done about 3 weeks ago at the dealership. i had my service done at the dealership since day 1 so i drove it around thinking im good to go because i thought they would check all the gauge and fluid. also, i dont see any smoke coming out from my exhaust like "spyhunger" style, if i saw a smoke i would know... since i have HKS exhaust.

after driving 30-40 miles the fender tends to get really hot. the car is already hot because its black color but this car seems to get heated very fast and takes awhile to cool down.
