Yeah, lol. I like the K&N actually, besides it being small, because you can use a wrench to loosen it up. Makes it so much easier

 

Yeah, the K&N's are nice. They were just so damn expensive when they came out compared to the Pure One. Now, Mobile 1 filters are just as expensive, so it really makes no difference I guess! But I got this nice adjustable filter socket from Mac Tools. Just slap it on a 3/8" ratchet and it comes right off.

No joke. Fram is perhaps the worst filter on the market.

 

Before you guys get too caught up in brand names, be informed about who actually makes them and how you save money and yet still get a very high quality filter.

Why 10-60?

Unless your engine is excessively worn a 60 grade oil may well provide you with less lubrication, less cooling, and less mpg.

I don't see any need to go above 30, the lower value picked should be based on location.
