Hey all,
I had a quick question.. I got my transmission replaced at 30k, the whole thing went kaput: car wouldn't drive faster than 20mph, made obnoxious whirring and revving noises, wouldn't shift, etc. Midas and later the dealer said my transmission just shattered, and there were pieces of the tranny in my ATF fluid.. The dealer replaced my entire transmission, so I am guessing I have all-new ATF? Do I still need the flush?

In terms of warranty, can they deny claims if you haven't been getting service at the dealer? Just oil changes, fluid top-offs, filter changes, and "manual" inspections?

Thanks!

You should keep a maintenance record/log & keep all your receipts.
