Sounds great with the FI!! i also have the FI and now am thinking about these cats for sure! Now are you thinking about getting it re-tuned to account for the Cats for more gain or not? is it even necessary?

please post drive by vids when you can, thanks!

these are resonated "test pipes". they remove the stock catalytic converters and replace them with a mendrel bent straight through tube that has a small resonator built in. so there are no catalyst anymore.

i am currently thinking of having a revised technosquare reflash done to get the tune inline with the mods.

Because IF o2 sensors are BEFORE cats we won't have any CHECK ENGINE mistakes...

You can empty out the stock cats but you'll probably get a CEL. The thing is, test pipes are cheap (~$200) and some come with an anti fouler or a welded J-tube to prevent CEL's. Plus you can reinstall the stock cats if you wanna sell the car. Can't do that if you modify the stock cats.

ahh, that makes so much more sense for them to sound like that then. I guess i skipped that part in your initial posts, im not too sure about test pipes cause i believe i will be caught with those pretty easy here cause of the smell. Btw if you go with a new tune and get it dynoed plz post here.

its only certain areas that are crazy strict. in my area we have emissions testing. but all they do is check the ob2 system....if you have everything good or everything fooled into thinking its good....then your good!

Wow.. Sounds sick... This is something that I was looking for.. "Mean Exhaust"...

Post some more videos! I would like to hear more cars with test-pipes. I'm thinking about buying a set myself.

How bad is the smell? Have you made any long trips? (At least 3-4 hours one way?)

Car looks good. Keep up the good work.
