Are there people who installed this kit? What are the results? what about durability? is the smb who drove over 15k miles with this kit installed? Does it suite AWD models?

 

I have the transgo shift kit installed. It helps the keep the transmission fluid temps down by minimizing the time the AT is shifting from one gear to the next. Because the shift time in between gears is less, acceleration time is decreased.

Kit has been in service for over 20K miles with no issues.

I'm not sure how it works with an AWD model though.

So, has anybody installed this kit to V36 G35x AWD? Or am I going to be the first?

p.s. I've seen one V35 G35x and several FX35/45 S50 AWD with it, owners seem to be happy!

Try doing a Search you'll find some members complain about harsh shifts that are extremely uncomfortable. Not sure if that is the result of how it was installed or just the Transgo kit itself? Research more...

I just installed this kit on my X. its snowing in ny so i havent got to test it at full throttle yet but. it works with the AWD g35's
