I'm looking at picking up a Q300 since it gets good reviews for quality, good, resonable quiet sound and it's priced right as well. I've been told you need to modify one of the pipes to clear the transfer case. Do all the current Q300 models come with resonators now - I want to make sure I get the more quiet version.

Is it a simple fix for the G35x?

Does anyone have any pictures of the modification?

On the resonators, current batches have the new res and x-pipes. Just make sure your vendor isn't holding on to old stock -- Which i doubt, as most vendors drop-ship these from Invidia.
