Angry Clutch Pedal

This has happened to me in my 05 6MT coupe and my 07 6MT sedan. If I decide to jump on my car, especially at a stop light (burn out), 9/10 times, my clutch pedal stays on the ground and slowly comes up. This prevents me from slamming the car into 2nd gear.

I have read through some postings and found references to dirty clutch fluid and something about a restrictor.

My car only has 27K miles and the fluid is CLEAN. Is there a restrictor in the clutch line that prevents the fluid from coming back up slowly? If so, is here a way to mod or eliminate this?

In my previous Mustang life, I LOVED burning 1st, dropping into 2nd, spinning through 3rd. I miss that in my G. Makes me think I should have bought an auto paddle shifted G.

Assuming it has, yes. I bought the car from an Infiniti dealership last year and have had it serviced at a local Infiniti dealership ever since. Last time we looked up recalls, all were complete. Unless this is a recent recall, then it has been taken care of.

Weird! I haven't tried this in my 07 yet, but I did this in my 04 G35 and had no such issue. I enjoyed having a car I could chirp in 3rd gear, just don't feel like beating up my 07 just to do it.

u need to ask them if the specifically did the slave cylinder recall cause it was a voluntary recall so they only did it if the customer brought their car in for it, what youre describing is the exact issues of the recall, i have done many "spirited" picks from 1st to 2nd with no probs.
