Headers for the HR Sedans ..

Hi fellas . . how ya doin ? i hope that everythin is goin well with you n your G's
ummm . . i'm just wondering if there is any new Headers came out for the HR sedans so far.

as far as i remember, there was a LTH being built for coupes by FI (Tony), and he was planning to modify it a lil to fit our sedans as well . . so, i dunno whether he got it done or not

from what i recall the HR headers were guilty of hitting the steering rack so make sure you look into that before buying, cause taht can cause major problems worth $$

Also i think Terry said that when he was getting the GTM turbo the guys said the OEM headers were pretty well routed and AM were not really gonna help much other than increase sound... Hopefully he jumps on here and pitches in exactly what GTM said.

I spent the better part of 3 days finding out that Megan (?) long tube headers from a 03 350z do not fit. The passenger side fits perfectly, but the drivers side hits the suspension sub frame. I could not get it to bolt up. I may look into modifying the pipe or selling them.

It's got to be in the numbers . . . they must not add up.

I expect there are too few people who are willing to spend too much money (and too much time) for too little improvement.

if there are long tube headers for the HR 350z, VHR 370z, and VHR G37, then i dont see why not for the HR sedans. Tony did mention over on myg37.com that he was looking into sedan headers, but how different could they be from the coupe version? we share almost all parts with the g37, suspension and drivetrain at least.

sedans do differ than coupes in drivetrain in terms of their length

I would assume that the LTH from FI (Tony) should fit the sedans as well... Email or call him to find out..
