ART pipes + ARK catback

ART pipes + ARK catback
Was wondering if anyone is running this setup? My ark catback is scheduled to arrive within a week or so and I was looking at the art pipes as opposed to hfc/tp. Just wanted to get any opinions on noise level or if there's any rasp or drone. I know some people have mentioned that the ark catback itself is pretty loud and that changing the cats makes it almost deafening...any input is appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the input. I think you were the one who I referred to in my original post as well cause I remember someone saying it was loud as **** and they couldn't even hear themselves think haha.

No problem - I'm not against noise either. I have since sold my GTM RTPs and ARK exhaust and now I have Berk HFCs and Invidia CBE. ARK is by far the loudest and I don't think anyone will like the TP + ARK combo. If you want to run TPs, I would go with one of the more quiet CBEs since the noise level will increase a lot.

I don't think anyone but Kube has ran Ark with HFC or TPs.
He said it was way too loud for him... We compared my Stillen to his Ark exhaust and his was slightly louder.. I installed the same GTM RTPs on my Stillen and I love the sound. Unlike Kube I can easily hold a phone conversation even through the cars bluetooth system on the highway without any issue. It can be kept quiet when you want it to be.
Everyone has different tastes... Only way to find out is to hear it in person or to try it out yourself.
I believe I was the first one to have Stillen exhaust matted with GTM RTPs.

I was running the ARKs with GTM RTPs. I have since sold the GTM RTPs to OMG35s.
I would install the ARK first and make sure you're comfortable with the sound before you touch the cats. If you check out the FS threads you'll see some people are selling the ARK exhausts because they are louder than they thought they would be.
OMG35s liked the way my car sounded with just the ARK CBE. I'm sure his RTPs + Stillen CBE isn't as loud as just the ARK CBE.

I think it was too loud for you on your ARK CBE because the ARK has an X pipe and the Stillen has a Y pipe. They say the X pipes give off a louder hiss/whistle and makes it louder and obnoxious when you add TP or HFC. It depends on how much air flow it gets and the size of the piping. (Read this somewhere on the370z)
Honestly Ryan, I think you'll say my car is too loud.. lol
You should have made a video of the ARK & RTP's.. I want to hear it.. haha
