I dont think Its the hfc because I have heard hfc rasp (my last exhaust) and this sounds nothing like that. I think its a tiny leak somewhere maybe one of the welds that was done was messed up in shipping. Idk im going to a hardcore tuner shop this week so we will see how it goes. If it is the HFC making the noise, I will have him swap my OEMs on there, sell my HFC and get RTP. On a side not does anyone know if the ART pipes will fit the X? if so I will get those..

if you can, bring a camera with you while your on the car lift, maybe it will give a better position on the whistle.

Just got a call from the shop! He said the welds on the mod for the x were mig welded and horrible haha. Which is fine, I expected that when I bought it. He said he cleaned up all the welds and re did the weld for the passenger side muffler to make the tip centered. He said it completely got rid of the noise and said that it was one of the cleanest tuner exhausts he has heard.

Haha nice man at least you got it fixed. And I'd have to agree with him on the exhaust note...can't get enough of it.

Dont worry about it.. it probably would have been fine without fedex lol. But i guess the welds didnt hold up to their treatment. And the tip was not centered it was to far to the left if looking from the back.
