Does anyone think it is really really quiet?

I just installed mine last week and am a little dissapointed at how quiet it is.

 

That's why i have a HFC on it as well haha. I'm getting a custom RTP made and if that's still too quiet time for a new midpipe.

 

It's the quietest catback for the 2nd gen

 

Sell it to me when you decide to upgrade to a louder one.

 

Did you get the gemini or the q300? The gemini has resonators on the midpipes which make them a little quieter.

 

we got luxuary cars,i think it sounds good not to loud but got anice tone to it.I wished i owned 1.looking into getting 1 soon.if u want loud get the ark exhaust ..

 

I don't want a loud exhaust but just a little more sound would be great. Guess I'm looking into RTP's

 

RTP or resonated HFC should help out. I went with invidia cause you can always make a quiet exhaust louder but it's near impossible to make a loud exhaust quiet. In the aftermarket exhaust compilation thread there are clips of invidia + hfc and invidia + rtp.

I LOVE HOW QUITE IT IS, Even with GTM RTPs. It isnt loud at all! Your best choice right now is to add HFCs/ or TPs. It will get louder but not that much.

 

im sure a non resonated test pipe should do the trick ... if not you can always just install a resonated test pipe and remove the resonators off the catback

 

he said a bit louder... not Raspier. non RTP will cause rasp. RTP and removing resonators on the exhaust will cause ALOT of rasp.

If OP wants a bit louder go with the HFC+ CB combo and call it a day. you will see no rasp and essentially the same gains as a RTP setup would yield.

 

only reason y i am not getting the invidia! apexi's sounds great with the hfc tho!

Haha i don't mind one bit! I got a new video of it as well, because that video is when i first got it installed.

I admit it's not as loud as i wanted, but i'm content with it . It's audible and looks great. I get compliments on how it sounds a lot more often then people think.
