Just installed K&N drop in air fitlers

I just finished installing the K&N air fitlers on my 08g35Xs. They were kinda tight fitting them in and clamping air box shut but I got them in there. Anyone else have the same experience? Also do I really have to reset the ECU after installing these? I know many people on here say its good to reset the ECU after any mod but I don't even consider this a mod. I appreciate any response. Thanks.

Don't waste your time. Its just a panel filter just like stock but better material (supposedly)

I had the same issue in my 07 sedan. I dont think it is anything to worry about. I actually got 1-2 mpg more after installing.

well I didn't reset the ECU since it was just a filter and the car seems fine. Just a little louder. Which is what I wanted.

I don't think the g35driver.com servers could handle the DIY material needed to fully explain the process of this install. It would take far too many pictures and text to explain all of the pertinent steps to complete the procedure without error.
