Ark Grip Exhaust !

Hi fellas ..

What do you think of this exhaust on our 07+ G35/G37 sedans ?
cuz i've been lookin around, searching for some reviews but with no luck.
However, it sounds GREAT on youtube.
Performance .. from what i found, this system puts down 15hp on Wheels. so it's probably the highest HPs gain u might get from an exhaust .

but still, wud luv to hear some reviews.
Anyone with this setup here ?

Thank you in advance..

Im thinking about buying the exhaust tomorrow.. I called and they said that they fixed the fitment problem which members where having so that a plus. I don't think it puts down 15 to the wheel as i read that on 350z it was about 9-10. It sounds amazing and the price is pretty good. Im planning on getting ART pipes down the road to get an even deeper louder sound.

i think the fitment problem was with the G coupes only, as for Sedans there were no fitment issues from what i can tell.

An exhaust is an exhaust. While ARK makes great products, you can't expect any exhaust to put down that much power without a tune, in which case can gain you about that much power without the addition of an aftermarket exhaust.

And keep in mind that while you will see gains on the top end, you will be giving up some low end power for it.

Every aftermarket parts manufacturer wants you to believe their products can gain you some miracle amount of horsepower, and while their dyno numbers aren't exactly lying, they aren't being honest with what else they've done to make those gains. Although in some cases they will be honest in fine print, and it will usually tell you that the gains include other parts or a tune.

MD is the only exception I can think of. Dave (if I remember correctly) actually does some real research to bring real quality parts to the market. You really can't compare their products to any others - it's not fair for the other names.

You're thinking about Tony and you're right. The amount of R&D he puts into his products is nothing short of amazing. I've had a man crush on him for a while.

I really feel that he just nitpicks at everything, but that's what makes his products that good. But realistically, other exhausts can do just as well, or sometimes better if we add other equations to the mix, such as boost, etc... It's all in what you want to do with your car: N/A or boost, etc...

I read VQ35revv review before buying mine but I called and talked to the people at ARK and they said that the fitment problem has been solved and the only problem, if there is a problem, would be that one would need to shave the flange. Other then that they said that had resolved the problems.
