So sorry yes I do have a little rasp now with the vibrants. I got the vibrants so it’d be a bit louder than my magnaflow 11385. Plus it pops more now which I love. But there’s rasp. Should I get 18’in vibrants? Or am I rasping because the stock exhaust is 2.25 and my vibrant is 2.5?

bringing this up again, so my muffler delete, art pipes and 12in vibrants rasp from 3.5k-4k rpm and its a bit annoying.

would a magnaflow glasspack(resonator) 16in get rid of the rasp and quiet down the exhaust a bit? thanks. i cant search this because no one has this specific setup

Glasspacks by nature are loud and somewhat raspy in my experience. Not sure what to direct to you here, sorry.

In place of the 12in resonator, or with the resonators?

Just save for a cbe.

Sorry to bump this thread but as of now I have art pipes, 18’ aftermarket resonators and a muffler delete. It sounds amazing and aggressive. A little on the loud side. My brother has these vibrant resonators 12’. And I was thinking to put them on where the mufflers would be at and weld the tips on them. Would this quiet my car down a bit and make it really deep?

Did you get rid of the rasp? More resonators always quiet things down, but you may get rid of that popping as you resonate more

If there is currently no rasp, I doubt it, but I can't speak too much into it since I don't really know.

Can you send a sound clip of your setup? I have no resonators with mufflers and it sounds too tame

I recently installed ART pipes on my DE rev-up with an HR y-pipe, coupe mid, and stock sedan muffler. This setup resulted in some rasp, but I was able to cut it down a little by squirting some RTV on the gaskets between the y and mid pipes, as it was not sealing all the way. I swapped back to the sedan mid-pipe which did quiet the rasp down a little, but quieted that lovely VQ rumble down as well.

A buddy of mine worked at an exhaust shop for a bit and has a pair of resonators off a Challenger Hellcat that he's been itching to weld up to something. Hopefully this weekend, maybe next we're going to cut up my old sedan mid-pipe and weld the Hellcats in to see if it makes a difference. Hopefully it works and I can be the only G driver on the planet (maybe?) with Hellcat parts haha

other way around is the way to go. Muffler delete and keep resonators is way better sounding than your setup imo. You should try it.
