Hit 60,000KM and decided to take a look at the K&N. Was actually dirtier than I expected. Quite a bit of debris, particles and dirt. To be honest I have not noticed any degradation in performance and I've heard they actually filter better when dirty. For now I shook off the debris and some of the dirt, will be doing a full cleaning in the next few weeks. The maf sensors still look spotless as do the clean side of the filters, would you guys recommend cleaning the sensors at the same time or leave them as is?
If the car's running and idling fine you don't really need to, but it only takes like 20 minutes to do a full cleaning of the intake (filter, MAF, throttle body) and then you know any issues that come up aren't due to having a dirty MAF or TB.
