Yeah, you cannot really see in the picture, but it was definately rubbed/scratched in an arc pattern right there, I am not a great photographer. We didnt touch it though, it rubbed it clean/scratched it. I cannot see if anything hit at the top, I would probably have to take the wheel off to see up there.

OK- so what can be done to limit this feathering??? Obviously the camber needs to be adjusted back into spec to eliminate it, I haven't been keeping up, what the status on the alignment kits?!?!

What about tire pressure, what are you guys running?!?!

This is just a guess here, but since you have stock diameter rear tires and less than stock diameter front tires, the car is leaning forward slightly - perhaps putting more weight/stress on your fronts than normal. Maybe for your next set of tires get some smaller rears or bigger fronts to level the car out.

+2 on the feathering.

the only solution is to go back in spec on the alignment.

problem is, once feathering has begun on a set of tires, it doesn't go away until you replace the tire- unless it's VERY new. you said you have a good number of miles on the tires, right?

lowering without being able to get into alignment spec is like adding engine mods without tuning- it leaves you worse off than you were to begin with. i know you did it for looks, but try not to sacrifice that wonderful handling while you're at it.
