Length of invisicord? with mikes mount

I searched the 2007 sedan section
there is alot of posts of people using mikes mount and invisicord
but not one post indicates the length of the invisicord that they are using.
I have a 2007 sedan with the home link mirror, invisicord sells different lengths
8,12,16,20 , which length is the best? i was going to go with an 8 in, but i am afraid it might be too short- i have passport 8500 x50
thanks for any help

Just go with the foot long. If its too long, you can always wind it around the mirror and then plug it in. Thats what I ended up doing. The setup looks absolutely the same.

8" is way plenty. Mike's Mount and Invisicord are both great products!

I purchased mine from here: www.stealthcords.com/shop

I was really happy with the service and I got the cord in just a few days. It was very easy to install.

Hope that helps!

You must be happy, 3 posts pushing the site already!

Did you ever get your video to work? Did you ever get your video to work? I was going to watch it to see how it looks on the site. I have some more ideas for the next gen of these cords, and doing small videos would be great.

This link shows rkdiddy was the author of the video entry on videocarnage, but the video link shows as not being active, so since both of you are here, thought I would ask.

Couldn't be happier!

Does the youtube install video not work for you on the site? I can install it on the site's server, it just takes a lot of bandwidth up. Is videocarnage.com a better video clip hosting site?

Sorry guys I guess this is a little off topic, but I think the video is helpful to show you how the cord is installed and the ease of installment.

Best Regards,

Stealth Cords

When I bought Mike's Mount and the iInvisicord, I was concerned about a lot of excess wire showing. The guy at Invisicord was great. I explained my concerns and that I didn't mind spending a little extra for a custom length.

The finished install was perfect and took all of 5 minutes. Great products (and service)!!
