Can 17" wheel fit on G35S?

I presently have 18" wheels on my G35S. I don't want to pay insane price for 18" high performance winter tires and I don't want to use my 18" original wheels in winter. Also, I still have 4 very good condition Toyo winter tires from previous G35 M6 2003.

Does anyone know if 17" wheel will clear the oversize callipers of the S?

I can confirm that "yes." I have the exact same thought for late fall/winter tires.

My service manager put a 17" on a front wheel. Cleared the caliper by 3/8th of an inch. Wheels were 17 x 7.5 with a 45 mm offset. I'm thinking of going with Dunlop M3s

Thanks for the usefull info.

The winters I've been using for the last 4 winters were Toyo Garit high performance. While most of the G35 owners (which appen to be 50+) are bitching and crying about the rear wheel slippage, I allways find myself in front of the pack during one of those "I hate this place" Montreal winter storms.
