License plate bulb replacement

I would like to swap my plate bulbs out to get the white light look. I read the threads, I've heard that some led bulbs don't last long and I don't want to have to replace them after a few months etc. So I decided to go with a piaa bulb that was mentioned in another thread. Based on the fact that it would maybe last longer and the fact that someone said that the 5 led light was not easy to get verticle and didn't seem to last very long. Since I'm old and not sure of which bulb, I call the piaa # from the thread showing the piaa bulbs. The guy in Seattle said he wasn't a seller and gave me a # for a distributor in So Cal called Four Wheel Parts. I call that # and get some fast talking kid that says that part # 19263 wasn't in his book and that I wanted a 19272 or something. I know the bulbs aren't that expensive, but I didn't want to go through ordering the wrong bulb. Can anyone that has done this tell me where excactly they got the bubs. I was suprised when they gave me a Four Wheel dealer WTF? But I suppose a bulb is a bulb. Thanks for any further help.

The OP said that he did not want to use LED's. He said he wanted to try Piaa's.

FWIW, the piaa leds are good quality and will last a very long time. although pricey, well worth it in my opinion.
