New member - modding help needed

Hey guys,
I got my white/beige 2007 G35 Sport about a month ago and I'm loving it. but now it's time to start modding.
I'm thinking of getting an exhaust (possibly the stillen exhaust) with a deeper and more aggressive tone to it (would a good muffler be sufficient?), and lowering the car (looking at 1.4" up front and 1.3" out back).
I'm also looking for some rims, but mainly show rims rather than performance rims. Looking at something similar to the HRE 597R black/polished lip 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear (looking for a deep lip). (also been thinking of possibly some multi-spokes like the 590R) but for around 2-3k for the set as the car is my daily driver and I will be force to go through some dirt/gravel roads. I don't want to regret spending a lots of money on the rims and getting them scratched up.
I wanted to know how much of a drop I could do without any rubbing issues and etc. I'd also appreciate any opinions on good exhaust systems and suggestions for any other rims I should be looking at in that price range. Finally I like to know if I'll need front and rear cambers and also where i could get them. (please keep in mind I live in Dubai so shipping may be an issue).

Sorry for the long post
Thanks in advance,
Borna

wont go wrong with the stillen exhaust ? looks great and sounds twice as great. its a nice louder, really deep and pure. sounds nicest on low accelerations and sometimes you feel like it wont shut up (good thing) =]

IMO, you should go with chrome lips. Chrome is harder and more durable against scratches caused by gravel than a polished finish. The con is that a bent rim is harder to fix because the chrome will flake off.

Not enough information to really answer your question, but we need to know what kind of look you are after (wide wheels, stretched tires, can you live with camber, etc.

If you can get Stillen parts, you should be able to get a camber kit.

Thanks for the info, that's exactly what I was looking for.
I'm glad doesn't shut up lol that's one thing that annoys me about the stock exhaust.

Thanks terrycs, I read one of your posts about getting a chrome lip so I will definitely be going for something with a chrome.

I'm looking for a wide look to the wheels but I would prefer to not have to stretch the tires since I really don't think the tire shops over here would know how to do that. I just want to try and avoid having to purchase a camber kit since once again I don't want to take a chance with the garages over here.

But if it is necessary then I will have to do so. West coast customs just opened up here with a couple of the guys from Cali working over here but they're definitely going to charge me a ton of money to do something as simple as installing front and rear camber kits.

Terry, I was planning on PMing you yesterday to ask you for recommendations on rims, offsets, and overall fitment since your car is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. (the look, the fitment, the sizes and offsets)

I congratulate you on a job well done and a beautiful car.

Any of your help will be greatly appreciated.
