How To Adjust Headlights
How To Adjust Headlights
Ever since I lowered my car with Eibach springs my headlights are now somewhat pointing downwards due to the particular stance. How do I adjust the lights? Please advise.
Thanks!
Thanks!
My local Dealer quoted me $150+ to adjust them, and they didn't even sound like they knew how to do it!
So I didn't bother to have the dealership do it.
I still haven't done it either. Need to though.

/\ That's what I plan on doing. I'm going to pull the Airboxes out and see if there's an adjustment screw of sorts. I'll let you know once I get time. I need to pick up some whiter fog lightbulbs, and install the new turn signal lights I got. Hope to do it some time in the next week or so.
In the service manual there are steps to do this. Also there is a site i went to a while back which really goes through the process thoroughly. If the service manual doesnt help, ill find the page. =)

Well apparently if you have AFS there's a levelizer gizmo thing there that handles everything... but I don't, so this is what I found...
Not sure if you can get to it from the top, but there's a ****-screw type thing back there that seems like it would do the job. It better, because there's nothing else anywhere on the headlight to actually do this...
This is the driver side headlight btw...

You can see it there, behind that "B" drawn on the right side.

Seen from behind, the index is on the main projector cover and the thumb is on this screw thing...

From the right side of the headlight, index on the fog bulb, thumb on the screw.
That should give you a pretty good idea where this thing is when you look at yours.
