Hyper White License Plate Bulbs

Ran a search, nothing concrete unless I'm just blind...was wondering what bulbs I need to get and HOW to install them, is my main question. I tried looking at it but it looks to be next to impossible. I love the way the IS350's license plate is illuminated and want mine like that too.

Thanks!

194 is correct. And to the OP, its a SUPER easy instal. Lense covers just pop off, you exchange bulbs, pop cover back on. Just get a light and look above your plate, it will make a lot more sense and you will see how easy it is.

Yeah but I just did it too, wanting the look of the new IS or 3 series and my bulbs are super bright. I wish there was a way to dim them down 25% or so. I got the PIAA, great bulbs just too bright. Plus our plates sit a little different and the light hits directly on the face of the plate, unlike the IS which is raised slightly.

But yeah, super easy install, 5 minutes if your retarted, 1-2 minutes if your not.

To those that helped me out - got them in the mail today and installed them (along with my custom laser Dallas Cowboys license plate on the front )

But just wanted to say that the lights on the plate look great in the back now - got them off Ebay for 99 cents...Texon bulbs. Bunch of foreign writing on the package and installation was a snap - literally.

Highly recommended for anyone that hates that yellow look of halogen!

I got some 6 count led replacements. They light it up in a blue/white color and at the right amount of brightness. V-leds.com.

194 is what you are looking for. Lenses pop out, just get on your knees and look up underneath the rear bumper's ledge for the license plate.

cheap cell phone pic...

Got mine from Super Bright LEDs. I thought the 6 count were a little too bright. So I went with the 4 count (WLED-x4 LED Wedge Base Bulbs).
