20" rear 19" front??

Has anybody seen this type setup. I know Z06's run this setup and we all know it looks sick. Im going staggered and thinking 20x10 in back and 19x8.5 up front. I figured since its staggered its not like i can rotate the tires front to back anyway. And replacing 20" tires may be cheaper than 19" tires since 20's are a bit more common these days. Any thoughts on a setup like this? Of course this wouldnt be an X, just a rwd G35S.

you can do it, but you will have to get new tires frequently!

20X10 +25, do it, do it,...

i think that'll be sick

but yeah, people run larger rears no prob, but i'd go for a larger width front, 8.5f and 10r looks somewhat funny

spoken like the rest of the sedan community.. very conservative. You'd probably say my 18x9 +30/27 is too aggressive as well

With the semi-stretched tires and -2.0 camber all around with a 2" drop, it'll fit perfectly

I think somebody should just find a friend with something similar and throw it on the car just to see how it looks haha.

I think that guy did 22's in the rear and 20's in the front on a coupe and had rubbing issues. It was something along that line but dont quote me on it

Yea i think a 22" and a 20" would look considerably different. But a 20 and a 19 is diff sizes, but close enough to where it wouldnt look "too" noticable, i would think, but it would still give it that mean aggresive look, especially with a staggered setup.

interesting

this is actually an interesting subject because on the manual it says that 2 of the tires is 18 x 8.5 and the other 2 are 9.5 or something..

im not sure if those are the exact dimensions but im positive there is a difference in the 6MT version that the back wheels and front wheels are a bit different size...

i am curious to see the 19 n 20 setup, post up some pics if you do it!

i wonder what would be best for racing though???

Thats referring to the widths of the wheels in the sport package. Wider rear wheels and smaller front wheels is referred to as "staggered".

i'm still waiting for more options out there... varianzas are nice and all, but 20's are very far and few in between

not true at all, someone on the pic thread has 20X10 +25 w/255 on the rears except he didn't want to adjust his camber too much so it rubbed, now if the car isn't lowered then yeah, it'll be wack

depends on what kind of racing... big fat slicks can go on smaller wheels for drag, but on track, probably larger wheel with lower profile, either case, the lighter the better
