07/08 Sedan -locate the SAT Harness

Looking for the SAT Harness. I have an 07 Sedan with the Bose Studio On Wheels? I have removed the trunk liners. Looking into the trunk, facing the front I see the amp to the left, sub in the middle and to the right a silver metal box (not sure what it is). Anyone know where the SAT Harness is when you have Premium, Bose SOW and no nav?
Thanks

^Different system. No Bose in his and my Sat harness is not where his is. I've looked at that thread already. Thanks anyway. G35Now!, You have premium. Have you ever asked or looked to see where you Sat harness is in the trunk?

Err....nm....didn't read the no-nav part first. The sat receiver is the box to the right of the center speaker between the two black molded pieces.

It's hard to tell from the pic......are there two cables (besides the antenna) connected to the receiver?

I don't have SAT in mine. Why would I have a SAT receiver? is it std in the premium pkg?
Here is a pic of the "Sat Receiver". I labelled the connectors A,B,C. What do you know/think. Thanks.
PS i dont subscribe to, or want sat. I'm looking for the harness to connect the kit i got through everything35.com.

SAT is standard on 08's, did you buy it used? because i don't think it was std on prem pkg, more like an add on option?

my guess is C

there's a thread here on the 07 factory service manual, that way you'll def know which one it is...

OK....I'm a little confused. I thought XM was standard on 07 too. Do you have bluetooth for your phone? If so that unit is the TEL control unit, which would explain the 3rd connector (pretty sure C) harness goes to the AV controller, B) is the microphone, and A) is the antenna. In which case this is the wrong unit.

Trace down the connector circled in Yellow, and see where that goes. That's the connector that the 08 cars use, as it goes to the CD changer in the trunk for nav cars, and to the Sat receiver in non-nav cars. I have no idea where it would go if not connected to either of those......

Looking through the service manual now.

Yes, I have bluetooth (with voice tags, no nav). I will look at the yellow circled area now. Thanks for your efforts so far.

The connector is in the area you have circled (@ about 10:00). The cable is connected, which screwed me up for a bit when I installed my Sirius a few months back. Just disconnect and connect it to your SAT radio. I have same setup as you, 07, prem, SOW, no NAV and it all works perfectly.

Yeah...It screwed me up when I installed mine, but I could see where it was connected to (CD changer). I have no idea what it could be connected to in a car without nav or a sat receiver. Good to know that it works though. Just curious what got "unplugged".

so are you saying I should disconnect the one circled yellow in the posted pic by bfranks above? Why would it be connected, any ideas?
Thanks

Can you tell what it is connected to? I can't find anything in the service manual that shows where that harness goes in your setup (non-nav 07 w/ no sat receiver). The other end connects to the main AV Controller so the options are pretty limited. I know the cable works, I just don't know what you are unplugging. Shawnost says it works, so I'd say go for it.

It's hard to say where it goes, I don't know much about this. Tonight I will try what Shawnost suggested and let you know how it goes. I will post up a couple more pics, as well, if it work with the iPod int. kit from everything35.com.
Thanks again for everything. This is why I'm addicted to this forum. Good people.

I don't know where the other end of this cable goes to, but it was the only available connector and that side of the car that would work with the SAT unit (check the connections). I haven't had any issues with using the cable (bluetooth still works, etc).
