i assume when you mean computer, you mean the ECU. And for a simple bolt-on like that, you don't need to do anything but enjoy your new intake. happy modding!

mr G make sure you disconnect the battery before you install the intake and make sure to reconnect the battery after the install is complete

Im an EE by trade, and there is a dam good chance that I make more then they do.
There is no risk/benefit to disconnecting the battery for that type of install
If you actually talked to the R&D people, they would tell you this as well, It just a ploy that marketing injects to cover their ***.

Just like PIAA tells you right on the box not to use their bulbs on the road or highway.

To the op, if you want to disconnect you battery, there is no harm in it. You will have to reset your seat mem and radio presets...

If you don't disconnect you battery, your G could possibly explode, or just get up and run away.

Ultimate thanx for the advise but this is what im afraid of like what snowcross says but maybee more than that .
The reason ived asked cause one of my friend got a problem with his car when he put the intake and the problem is like when there is wrong with the injectors or with anythings that makes the car not normal like vibaration and so on.

Mr. G, I'm an EE as well and have a decent background on Marine diesel engines. Intake systems do not directly affect the internals of the motor, the only thing I can think of is an air leak after the mass air flow sensors which may cause vibrations/hesitations/shuddering/check engine light etc. As long as you follow the instructions of the installation by the manufacturer of the intake, you should be fine. Also, having a buddy help you out or just stand there and watch you do it should help. As soon as you get it installed, just start the engine and look in the engine bay for anything unusual such as vibrations, also have someone rev the engine after its been warmed up. If everything seems to be ok, go out for a test drive, don't mind the louder intake roar, thats normal. Hope this helps a bit more.
