ok first of all, this might be a stupid question, but i want to know for sure...i doubt the answer to this question will be a yes, which sucks, but can the 5AT handle the kind of power a twin turbo will bring?...or are us 5AT owners limited in power gains?
second question, i want to do intake and exhaust, but the most important thing to me is gains...everywhere i look i hear something different about the aftermarket intakes that are available now, so i probably wont get any of those...i did read the post about the g37 intake that injen made and how it gained like 14whp and like 9wtq or something like that...thats impressive and thats something i would consider if/when they make it for our sedans...but how about exhausts?...do these stillen and FI exhausts produce any gains or is it just for a nicer sound?

someone on here had dyno'd when he got his exhaust.. he actually gained HP/TQ when he took off his Fujita intake

After the technosquare ECU flash, HP and TD gains went up when the Fujita was taken off.
At this point, I'm not really feeling the whole intake thing. Infiniti did an awesome job with our intakes and any replacement hardly makes a difference in the right direction, other than sound. Not worth the investment or the risk to motor components, considering the filters are not as affective as the OEM paper filters.
I'll admit that I'm still watching to see what Injen releases.
As for the exhaust, I've found that it depends on who you ask. When you hear the new roar of your car, your butt-dyno will tell you there is new found power, but the dyno doesn't show too much of a gain.
I believe the FI with HFCs is a nice setup... sounds nice and if you look at the thread (My morning at FI) there are dyno results.
But then there is also another thread with a G35 with an intake and FI exhaust up against a stock G and he only won by a quarter length... not worth the $1500 if you ask me.
That guy paid $1500 bucks and got a nice sound and a quarter car in length?
Yikes!

the exhaust would help the car breathe easier...but no significant gain in HP...give or take a few...but not enough to feel.
same goes with the intake...it will allow more air to flow into the system, help breath easier. Id say the both of them together would give about 20-30hp
id rather spend the money on an ECU upgrade

you are nuts. on these engines, there is NO WAY you will see 30 hp from an intake and exhaust. With the info we have as of now, all intakes are going to SAP power from your engine, not up it. Maybe, when we see the dyno results from Injen on the sedan, you would get maybe 12 from the intake, and MAX 20 with the intake/exhaust combo, thats it even with the speculation on the injen intake.
Dont believe someone who says you will get 30 hp from an intake/exhaust, when we still havent seen any indication that either part marketed currently will even yield more than 2 or 3 positive hp gain.
