question bout fogs

guys for the fog lamps in the headlight on a 08g35x sedan do you think it would be ok to put in 50w hids with the kit or do you think that would use too much energy.

U dont need a 50w hid in the fogs. You'll just blind people. 35w hid is plenty bright. And yes, you would still need a heavy duty harness for the ballasts. I hooked mine up to the stock wiring and it blew a fuse as soon as i turned the fogs on. And to change the fuse you have to take the battery out just to get to the fuse panel. Stock wiring just isnt sufficient for the power needed for the initial powering up of the ballast. It may last for a while, but sooner or later you'll wind up frying something if you dont use a heavy duty wiring harness for them.

well the reason i wanted to get 50w was because i wanted to get a exotic blue and the lumens on the 50w were 3300 but on the 35w they were 2200 so i mean it would make a huge difference..

The fogs are aimed within a few feet away from the car. If you're doing the HIDs for the color then lumens arent really going to make a difference since the fog housing isnt made to throw light at a distance. Either way, you'll need some type of wiring harness.
