Does this still work as well as with the 8500?

I know on the 8500 the on switch is also the volume dial so you can keep it on and run the power to the switched power in the rear view mirror. thus turning it on when the car turns on.

I see on the 9500 that it has a button instead of a dial for the on function. will I have to press on every time I get into the car now?

Sorry mods could you move this to the electronics section?

On a different note, does anyone else notice this is the slowest forum ever? It took me like approximately a million years (literally 15 min) to load the page, then my thread, then post. I have no idea how long it will take to post this… I am on several other online communities and none are slow at all let alone 56k speed. Just wondering if there is an answer to why or if for some reason it is only slow for me…. Which I could not see why since it is this slow on every computer I get on. J/W

It is the servers that this forum is running on and maybe they should think about upgrading them. I get the same problem too, where the connection times out but its just because there is a lot of information that they have to keep and a lot of users searching through the database. Better servers = faster browsing but better servers also equal more money.
