All you're looking for is a picture of it on a dark colored car though, right ?

its not worth the money. Grounding kits are only for older cars where the stock grounds are starting to rust. they are also some thing for people with new cars to blow money on. ill bet $ that you will feel zero difference.

not according to the G37 cars.

here's a quote from one of their members:
I have the Stillen kit which if I remember is 8 gauge wire.

Some updated findings on my kit:
1. Car shifts much faster. The 3-4 shift snaps your neck a little at redline.
2. In "D" mode when I press the gas it doesn't "hunt and search" for the right gear, it just drops the gear and away I go, no lag. Around town this is perfect. This has kept me from leaving it in DS mode all the time like I used to.
3. Throttle response seems better. It seems like it takes far less pedal travel to achieve the same results.
4. Women find me more attractive.

Get this kit if you have an AT, you won't regret it.

Here's a cheaper alt. to the Stillen kit:

I have a kit shipping today that I'm going to try out. I'll let you know how it works for me.

see all this doesn't really make any sense to me.
the hunt and search is a software problem, not a lack of electrical power problem.
all the grounding kit does is decrease the resistance to ground, and the entire uni-body of the car is ground.

There was another thread on here about this very same issue, the OP said his car shifter smoother, wasn't as snappy. Which is exactly the opposite of what the g37 guys are saying.

shifting in an automatic trans is driven by hydrological pressure, not electrical.
the control circuit is what tells it when to shift, which is electrical. IC circuits are not power hungry, changing the resistance to ground won't change the shifting algorithms that decide how and when to shift the trans.

im looking for the other post now

ya i don't see it hurting any thing, unless you screw up the install, but its not that complicated.

i hope you are happy with the results.

i'll be sure to let the forum know the outcome, whether I notice a difference or not. I'm really not expecting much but we'll see.
