Fast Intentions has a sale on their exhausts right now. Top notch stuff.
Act fast, the sale is almost over.
As for "slamming", he was talking about lowering your car on new springs.... Notbeatin on it.

Read through the stickies. At the very top of the G35 Sedan 07+ general site, there's a thread called "Aftermarket Parts for 07+ Sedan" where you will find most of the aftermarket parts available for our cars. There's also another sticky thread w/ a database of lowered cars, set up, etc. Finally, in the G35 Sedan 07+ picture share section, there's a sticky thread on 07+ G35 sedans w/ rims.
thanks for the help guys... looked around and found some stuff that i liked
i had a question about tint...would a window tint look good on a lakeshore slate? what is a good window tint to get? i read around and stuff, what percent tint would be good?

Depends on what look you want and where you live.
Laws differ from state to state.
I have 35%, the darkest allowed in MA, which is nice, but not as dark as I would have liked (20%)
State tint laws can be found here
Search the picture thread for "tint" and you'll find plenty of examples of different tint levels.
As for your other question, tint improves the look of any color G, in my own humble opinion.

hmmmm california tint laws say that atleast 70% of the light must come in the front side windows...the rear window and rear side windwos can have any tint...So this pretty much means i have to get a really light tint on the front windows?
No worries.
Not everyone tints the front window at all.
Keep in mind that at night, lights react a little differently through the window that has tint on them. (Don't believe people that say this isn't true)
You may see little halos around oncoming lights.
Be sure you want front tint before having it done.

since the law says 70% light must come in, how much of a tint can i have on the side front windows? i dont think super dark rear windows will look good with light front windows will they?
oh by the way about the springs...is lowering my car really worth it? like i'm planning to do a lot to my car, but i think im gonna start off slow with smaller things.

That chart shows tint levels.
Here in Massachusetts, I can have nothing darker than 35% tint. That allows 65% of the light to pass.
The California tint law is 70%, meaning that it must allow 30% of the light to pass.
A 70% tint is legal on the front side windows and any tint can be used on the rear.

I haven't read the specific law on tint, but I can say with a fair amount of certainty
that having any material affixed to your front and/or front side window that isn't factory installed (ie tint) is not legal to drive with.
You can have certain factory installed and/or tinted glass on the front side windows, which alot of cars come with these days, and that has to allow 70% light in.
You can argue on here all you like, but in California, and specifically the bay area, the courts will uphold any tickets for front and front side window tint.
SJ~
PS I guess the lesson is, tint at your own risk
Not all cops are jerks, but its one more thing they can nail you for.

you can have aftermarket tint installed on front windows. just as long as 70% of light passes through. there are quite a few brands that have 50% tint and shops will give u certificate of 'legal' tint if you do it at only 50%..
you should check with different places that tint.. each brand of tint has various % .. i am in so cal and went with a place that does llumar tint. i went with 35-20-15 (front sides/rear sides/back) ... which makes my front windows just barely darker than allowed.. but with the sunroof open.. the tint seems much much lighter.. so when i'm on the toll roads/speedtrap area.. i just open it up *just in case* since they're kinda picky down here in oc.
but yah.. definitely if you don't want to / can't afford to deal with tickets.. don't go too dark up front if you're in cali.
