Exclamation Pulleys

I was wondering if these pulleys are legit and that i wont un-balance my engine (according to my friend). The pulleys are lighter allowing more horsepower to be unlocked. here is the link (it's from stillen)Stillen Unorthodox Racing: Ultra Sc Stock Diamter Crank Pulleys

Thanks for the Help.

Good news is taht they are the same size as your stock pulley so you wont be "under driving" any system of your car(alternator, a/c, etc), however that means that you wont get as much gains, and all if any gains will come, they will be from the weight reduction, maybe someone with experience with this certain pulley can pitch in...

yeah ive realized that you dont gain MORE horsepower. as weird as that sounds. but yeah i might go to stillen and say look, i want to buy these and have my dealership install these. that way if something goes wrong i can blame infiniti for their **** up

i must say that the lightened/stock sized pulley benefited me in ONLY one area on my previous car. It helps with rev matching only. one horsepower at best gets "freed up" from parasitic losses of rotational enertia. pulling weight off of the powertrain does basically that. frees up and allows the acceleration/deceleration of it to improve. horsepower will mostly come from reducing the friction and increasing efficiency. you might see more power from changing your tranny fluid to synthetic. lol

one downside is the loss of the balancer. i noticed this on my last car and actually had a few bolts loosen up in various parts of the motor.(but i also removed the balance shafts that were on that motor Nissan QR25DE)

From a member on MyG37 who did some dyno runs on his car...

The UR pulley gained 5 HP for me after an ecu reset and 200 to 250 mile break in period. The JWT pop-charger actually yeilded an impressive 7 HP even with all the other mods. Once again, sorry for the delay, and lack of graphs, but they'll be up shortly.
