My battery is Dead! ?? WTF
My battery is Dead! ?? WTF
Mine Battery is dead!! After parking in the garage for just 2 day. I got the car on March 2008.So it just 9 month.Da'''m!!! I'm lazy to take it to the stealer. I will get Optima Battery. After searching found Optima 35 is compatible for our G. any suggest or recommend would be appreciate.Unbelievable!!!
There is no way your battery should be shot in 9 months. It was either a defective battery, which the Dealer should replace or something in your system is draining it. I would definitely get it checked out.
Thanks for chime in. but i'm too lazy to stop at the dealer. Hopefully nothing wrong with mine engine or the the electric system that cause drain out.
I will try to jump start from mine Honda Pilot.

Yeah, let us know. I had the problem of the battery drain and the dealer replaced the battery but the same thing happens. I know my charging system works (monitor voltage on my radar detector) and the dealer says the car is not draining power out of spec but noted it does consume more power than older cars without all the gizmos. In the end, I bought a battery trickle charger (Battery Tender Jr.) which came with connectors that I just leave on the battery. Whenever I think I may not drive the car for more than a few days, I hook it up to the battery charger from the windshield wiper area.
i used to swear by optima red top for daily driver. never had one die out on me. but if they do, you need a special charger for the dry cells.
infiniti/nissan will def replaced your battery for you. under 12 months is free, after that, it is prorated

I had this happen on my M. Battery died out of nowhere. Able to jump it but kept dying at random. No long sits either. Could be a few hours or overnight but it would die.
Turns out the battery they were using was KNOWN by Infiniti to have bad cells and wouldn't hold it's charge. They replaced free (and I believe it was after one year). I had to argue with them but if you do a search you'll find this fairly often - which is a bit disturbing.
I wonder if there is something that Infiniti missed with all of the electronics drawing too much power at times and they were blaming it on bad cells. Hmmm.
I had the battery tested by Infiniti and a local shop I use for regular service and there were no signs of any issues with the battery before they replaced it. I wonder how they knew/found out about bad cells?
Anyway - maybe this will help you a bit. Just don't be too confident that you are out of the woods just because you were able to get the thing jumped.
I went out and bought one of those cheap, plug-in jump starters from Walmart that you plug into a wall and throw in your trunk. I ended up needing it a few times and $40 (especially cheap around the holidays!!) it was a great piece of insurance and saved me a few times until I got the new battery.
G'luck!
