Brought car in....now drives different??
I brought my car in for an SES light that came on. The light wasnt anything major and they must have reset the ECM because my tpms sensor was off when they brought it back. THe light stays on due to the rims not having the sensors in. So they must have reset it. Ive only put a few hundred miles or so, but the car feels different. The throttle response feels less responsive now. Is it possible that it will take a while longer for my car to readjust to my driving style? I have 11k miles now and havent reset the ecm the entire time. So is it possible that my car will just have to relearn everything? I guess this is the similar feeling that most have when compared to the loaner feeling faster than their own car?
This is like the bane of my G35 experience. Loved the feel off the lot; and as the ECU learned my normal daily driving style for the next month, the throttle response evolved into something far less responsive. Some guys just reset their ECU periodically to get that touchy throttle feel back, others just reset their ECU once and drive it like they stole if for like 50 miles, and people like me, have resigned to this for now. I am probably getting the reflash from Uprev whenever it comes out and I am so hoping this will give that amazing throttle feel back. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear that Danny.. Did you take it to Ray Brandt?? did they give you a reason for the SES light to be on in the first place? Good luck and i hope your baby returns soon.
