cat-back, imho, i don't believe in the whole oiled-filter idea. plus the stock intake is designed pretty well.

I've been looking and I found the Tanbe for $618 shipped( yes I know it's a axle back) and Blueslate is selling his FI on here( Not sure the FI will be to loud and is there is droan). So I could get a exhaust for that price just not sure which way to go..The Stillen is on here for sale but he wanted $700 and there was no Y-pipe.

I have just HFCs, I found that under hard acceleration it doesn't sound that great! I'm guessing it that it rasps under WOT which i don't really like. Under gentle acceleration omg sounds so nice, esp when i'm leaving my parking garage. hahaha.

Yea I noticed that also, Kinda tinny right. But there was thread floating around here that said something about removing the counter weights on the mufflers and the noise was gone..? Not sure never got to try it.

When I was stock, I removed the counter weight on the muffler and that got rid of it. But with the HFCs the sound is back and much louder. I wonder if it's cause the Muffler can't handle the flow and just rasps out.

FI exhaust isn't loud at all and there's no drone what so ever.

Hey ANMVQ, I dont' know much about exhaust, but would mufflers reduce rasp or is it all gotta do with the resonators etc. I mean if it's raspy up top because of the flow do you think that clearing the y pipe with a resonated X pipe would get rid of the rasp? Lol do you know any Exhaust experts hahaha.

Csquared.... Look at the actual ceramic cat in the HFC and I bet you thats where the rasp"rattling" is coming from
