the other day i ran over a piece of tire on the freeway, and when i was inspecting the car i noticed that a harnest like wire underneath the car was hanging out disconnected. the location of the wire is the upper center of the care, right underneath the wheels.

i'm not sure what the wire is for, but i plugged it back in regardless. my service light came on the next time i took the car out for driving. i'm taking it in to get it checked, but i was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on what that wire is and used for.

 

sounds like it unplugged the o2 sensor.
