5AT Transmission Faluire?
Technical guys, need some input.
Last night i was driving my in manual mode, down shifts, up shifts, pretty spirited driving. I was slowing down so i started to down shift 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and held the gear there for a while, i kicked it shifted into 3rd, and all of sudden VDC, and SLIP lights came on. I put the gear back into D. drove slowly, and noticed that the transmission is acting gay, late shifts, and it shifts very hard, juss like an old skool V8 with a shift kit .
Pulled over turned the car off and on, Everything was normal. Nothing from what was mentioned above. Drove it around for 5 more mins as i was headin home it was totally fine.
Any one experienced this b4? I looked around and search, and found that wenever those lights are on. It means either BREAK FLUID, or BREAK PADS. But this doesnt explain the hard *** shifts i was getting in D mode.
Can anyone explain? should i b worried? should i take it to the dealer and get it checked out?
Any Feedback will be appreciated.
EDIT: Sorry forgot to mention, its an 08 G35 Sedan.

Ya the lights are a result of the brake pads wearing out and causing the fluid level to drop as for the tranny to shift hard, i reckon it was doing that cause it "learned" that you were driving spirited and followed the suit when you popped it in D from what i have seen these trannies are quick learners, then when you reset the car it must have just gone to its default setting IMO.
if its driving fine now then i dont think that there is much to woory about, but then ofcourse i cant physically see your car and am just going by your description of the problem so if it gives you a piece of mind then you might as well get it checked out.

Thanks for the clarification.
I've been driving it since, nothin wat so ever but havent got the chance to try out M mode. I agree with u bout those trannys. But the shifts i was getting wen those lights popped up, it wasnt the shifts i get usually wen driving in DS. Ive driving my car for the past 3 years now. It never acted this way.
if it appeared again. I will go ahead and take it to the dealer, n get it checked.

Well.. I took the car to the dealer earlier this month.
Scanned the code and it turns to be the Cam positioning sensor that is causing the car/Transmission to act this way.
At first i found that hard to believe. Replaced both sensors and some other wiring harness which i dunno of. And the car is running perfect since then. It even responses and shift smoother than b4.
