So you're saying that you want to make your license plate MORE visible at night AND the bulbs burn out easily? So not only are you making it easier for cops to see your license plate, but you're risking being pulled over also when the LED burns out without your knowledge?

I think I'll pass on this "mod"

When you say dim, do you mean like the standard bulbs do when you shut the doors and turn on the ignition (a la movie theater style)? My LEDs don't dim, they just abruptly turn off within a second or two. I wonder if that has to do with the fact that my leds are from superbrightleds and might have different features/electronics.
