Headlight Painting

I want to paint my headlights and I did a search but I still have some question. What are the most important.

well my friend hakop (g35hakop) did his and they came out great.
he put them in the oven and opened them up and took it to a shop to paint the housing. He just put the headlights back into the oven to get the seal sticky and out that back together.
pm g35hakop and he'll tell u what he did exactly

here's his thread

There are a couple of treads about this, be careful though, when you open it, it has to be one smooth motion or you'll mess up the sealant and you can get condensation inside the headlight.

I've done it to a few honda's, and did it to like 180 degrees, but the headlight was HOTT when i took it out. I didn't attempt it on my G, b/c for some reason, the G's headlights seem more "plastic" than the honda headlights that i've done... oh yea, i put a damp towel on the bottom of the oven, so the metal in the oven won't melt parts of the headlight housing....

This is all do it at your own risk info by the way, i have not "cleared or painted" my headlights in my G, so i'm just speaking from past experience with 6th, and 4th gen honda accords....

the iron man mod is only for g37s bro
the only thing we could do is out LEDs inside the projector shround
which igor is gna do for me once he's done with his project
clearcorners also does it but rips people off...for the amount they charge...u could by a **** load of mods.
Igor will charge about half the price

Is it going to look like the CC ones? I was thinking of doing the CC ones but with blue leds instead and have Leds in the Amber part and the row under the turn signals, might be over kill, but i'm saving up, i might hit up igor later.

CC is seriously a rip off
$1,200 is way too much for paint and some LEDs
i'll be paying about half that
and im getting housing painted obsidian black and the parking light shround black too...the projector shroud is goin to be color matched (Liquid Platinum) and he's gna put ble LEDs inside the projector shroud instead of ugly orange like CC and he's also goin to install the LEDs inside the projectors like CC
all for half the price of CC lol
