Front bumper mesh

Anyone removw the mesh on the front bumper for a sport? How is it held on?

A few people have cut them out. It's not as simple as just pulling a few screws.

Some have drilled to make it functional as well, which led to a big debate on whether or not it hurt the aerodynamics of the car.
