btw if you didn't drill any holes how did you get the clips installed in the middle of the bumper? not sure that could have been done without hole sawing the 25mm access's.
I don't have a sport lip, I have an aftermarket one... and mine didn't have any clips that you speak of.Originally Posted by bena1916

The OEM lip requires holes to be drilled underneath the front edge of the bumper.
There are large holes about an inch in diameter and next to those are smaller holes about 3/16".
The large holes accept a metal clip and this clip has a small hole that aligns with the smaller 3/16" hole. This gives something solid for the mounting screws to bite into. Everything is kept tight along the edge with the help of double-sided tape.
These holes have to be precise and this is why the templates are necessary.
It's a fairly easy install. Biggest PITA was having to jack up the front end in order to drill the holes, and that is a pretty easy task in itself.

I don't think you can get it in IP, because they changed the color for 2009 and the bodykit are from the 2009 model year.

Unfortunately, you have to get it repainted if you want IP

i wonder how big the difference is b/t the two color.
I have seen the MW next to my IP.....and the IP definately has a yellow tint to it, but it is very very slight though. So if the lip is such a small part of the car...I may not be able to tell.
