about to install sport lip. any tips or advice from others who have installed
I don't have a sport lip, I have an aftermarket one... and mine didn't have any clips that you speak of.
The OEM lip requires holes to be drilled underneath the front edge of the bumper.
There are large holes about an inch in diameter and next to those are smaller holes about 3/16".
The large holes accept a metal clip and this clip has a small hole that aligns with the smaller 3/16" hole. This gives something solid for the mounting screws to bite into. Everything is kept tight along the edge with the help of double-sided tape.
These holes have to be precise and this is why the templates are necessary.
It's a fairly easy install. Biggest PITA was having to jack up the front end in order to drill the holes, and that is a pretty easy task in itself.

i wonder how big the difference is b/t the two color.
I have seen the MW next to my IP.....and the IP definately has a yellow tint to it, but it is very very slight though. So if the lip is such a small part of the car...I may not be able to tell.
