this may be a silly question, but was there an intruction manual included with your kit? mine came with one and i loosely followed it. two important tools to have are the plastic prybars and fish tape. also i can answer any questions you may have. i didnt have the chance to take pics of my install

Bat, have you ordered them yet? If not, they come with instructions that are fairly easy to install. The instructions themselves are very much like a DIY. I did my install at night, in the dark, with a dead flashlight battery and it took all of 40 minutes. I installed a set on a friend's car a few weeks later and that took no time at all. I didn't have a fish tape... I just pushed the wire behind the center stack from one side and pulled it through from the other.... very easy to run the wire and they are completely plug and play.
If you have ordered and received them and still have questions, let me know. I'll try to take some pics and post a half-a$$ed DIY for ya.

It's honestly not tough.
If you can apply light pulling pressure to your trim pieces and pop them off and if you're not afraid to wrap the tip of a flathead screwdriver with a rag to pop off the existing plates, the rest is pure gravy.
Run the wires in the track and up and around the back of the center stack (it's open, you can stick your arm through there) and then just plug them in.
Do it when you have nowhere to be, so you don't feel pressed for time. It won't take you more than 90 minutes, and thats with reading the instructions 17 times and being extra cautious.
The dealer is gonna whack you $50- easy. It's up to you whether or not you feel like paying that.
Anyone in or near MA who wants these in, I'm happy to help with the install.

I installed these along with the footwell lighting and changed my cabin air filter while i had everything apart. took me a couple of hours. i think the only thing that i skipped was the extra tie-wrapping and foam taping when running the wires under the weatherstrip/lower trim panel and other places. i felt that it wasnt needed. i would say its worth it to DIY.
