Question about repainting self-healing paint...

say that i need to get something resprayed down the line, and my car comes with the self-healing paint, does that mean that the body shop has to use the self-healing paint in the repair? Or can they match it but not use the self-healing stuff.
I'm just wondering if a body shop even has access to this type of paint and whether it costs much more.

They will just match it with regular paint and clear coat especially since Infiniti does not offer it anymore.

One reason I didn't go for an 09. The self-healing paint had to many questions about it for me.

I thought the self-healing part was just the clearcoat?

Self-healing clearcoat has been around for years. PPG and other major paint manufacturers sell it.
