^ hey muhtish you are indeed in the wrong foums since this is for 2nd gen Gs which have hard drive based navs and no CD/DVDs. Since you do have a a dvd system then im guessing you have a 1st gen G, which is 2003-2007 G35 coupe or 2003-2006 G35 sedan
You will be able to get MANY more responses over at the 1st gen section, just starta new thread here if you have a g35 sedan OR here if you have a coupe.
Just make the thread in the main forum to get more responses and exposure and then the mods might move it to appropriate section(maybe tech) so keep an eye out

just to take a stab at it... when you press the eject button can you hear some/any sounds from the DVD unit trying to eject any disks? If not and it doesn't even try to accept the new disk then it might be that the DVD player is dead or the power source is severed.
Also are you saying that the screen is not responding at all or just the nav functions arent responding on the screen?
Firstly do some easy troubleshooting:
Check all fuses in both boxes(one in the engine bay under the battery cover and the other on the left side of foot well of the driver side behind the cover). It might just be a blown fuse. If not then try to check all connections going into the dvd
