you have an 07, so it should be under warranty.

What if it's not under warranty? I have an 07 with 61500 miles, so I am out of my warranty period.

If this ever does happens to me (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!!!), is there a way to fix it besides getting a brand new tail lamp assembly?

Yeah, I'll mention this next time I go to the dealer since I'm still under warranty.

I have a feeling the whole thing will need replacing. Here is a pic of the back of passenger side assembly:

The brown connector is for the turn signal bulb.

The assembly doesn't look like it opens up.

warranty should cover that ..

if your out of warranty ..

try a junk yard/salvage yard .. to get a working replacement ..

that would irkk .. the crap out of me . lol..

only way to get into it... i would guess, is to bake it ...
i dont know if itl work the same way as headlight baking ..
