Im trying to decide if I want to paint the grill and lights on my 08' OB..... and what to do with the emblem.

Ive been able to find a couple of sedan pics with headlights painted black.. but none that are on a black G.

I found ONE OB sedan with black on black grill/emblem ("darth vader" thread) but it has the chrome lights.


Anyone out there have some pics for me to consider?

Im sure there are pics somewhere ... but 2 days of searching has worn me out.

maybe its the grill, but im not so sure about the blackheadlights on black now.

Thoughts?

 

I deleted the whole chrome and overlays on both headlight and tail lights

thats EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Did you paint the inside of the HLs? I also noticed you have the truck lip chrome blacked out too, and the spoiler I want.

The only thing I was considering doing diff. was getting totally blacked out GTR tailight covers (cut outs for the brake and reverse lights)

Im just afraid it might not match the OB paint exactly and a little look off.

hey man...

my grill is midnight like upper and lower fin is chrome but then I put this matte vinyl over that and window chrome frame as well

for the lights its not paint just a overlay...I am loosing 15% of headlight output with that but nothing which will worry you...for the rear don't go for cut out IMO wont look nice

For the rear chrome I painted that black along with the grill last year but now both that and rear spolier is foiled in CF vinyl and the side mirrors as well
