If I was in UAE I would have done this like 5,000,000 years ago

BTW Ahmed, I sent you a message a couple hours ago. Anyway, your car is almost done. Bumper is fixed, fender is fixed, A-pillar is fixed and I think the door opens now. Still needs painting and work on the headlight.

Sorry to backtrack, but would you happen to have photos of the clear plastic lens housing? I'm trying to determine if it's just the housing, by itself, that attaches to the insides -- the black painted piece. One of my housings is cracked all around the edges, so if it's that piece that comes out by itself, this is a no-go mod for me.
Thank you!
Thank you!
Something like that. Some housings, like in my previous cars, had the clear piece attached to another plastic which in turn is where the adhesive goes and meets with the rest of the housing. On the G, i'm not sure if that's also the case, or if the clear piece attaches directly to the black part you had painted. If it's the former, i can probably tackle this, but if it's the latter, definitely a no go for me.
Thank you though!

Oh I see now. The light assembly is actually made of 3 major plastic pieces 1) The clear plastic 2) The chrome housing 3) The grey plastic from behind.
I think the clear plastic attaches to the grey plastic in the back that holds everything in place. So the chrome housing is not actually glued to either pieces. The reason i say this is because 1) There is only one bead of silicone/glue that holds the light together. so it would have to be between the outer parts (clear plastic and grey plastic) and not the chrome inner housing. 2) When I saw the lights disassembled I only saw remainings of silicone glue on the clear and grey plastic pieces but none on the chrome housing.
I remember seeing pics of all the pieces disassembled a couple years ago. I'll try to find them for you.
