Question use old HIDs to make some fogs??

Hey guys,

I have an extra set of ballasts and 6000k HID lights from my old honda accord when I parted out with it and sold it before i got my G.

My 2008 sedan does not have fog lights on the bottom, but has those plastic woven-looking pieces on the left and right side.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to some fog enclosures? I could just make some cutouts in those plastic pieces right? Do you think if I wired my extra ballasts to the battery and tapped a fog light wire, I could get them to turn on with the fog lights?

I have never done this before but think it would be a cool mod and boost my light output on the ground. What do you guys think?

thanks for looking

Your fogs are located in the main housing. Its right below the front blinker. Not many people have attempted to install fogs in this location due to lack of room behind the bumper. The passenger side also includes the large washer fluid bottle directly behind that corner grill. Only one or two people have installed fogs in those spots and i beleive both purchased a smaller reservoir tank that comes with some CAI.

just be sure to get something that can withstand the heat of a HID, but i think this is a great idea.
